GERIATRIC CLINICAL NURSE SPECIALIST

Exhibits the knowledge and skills required for care of patients in a specific area of expertise. Collaborates with other health care providers in the management of complex patient and family care and encourages cost effective nursing practice. Develops and implements standards and research to enhance the quality of care to the population served, and matches demands and resources to resolve clinical and professional issues.
Masters in Nursing. Geriatric certification and/or experience.
