Field IT Technician/Radiology/Radiation Therapy Systems
As the Field IT Specialist, you will be supporting Windows based software used to manage and support Radiation / Oncology Systems including an image transfer support such as DICOM or PACS. The key to this position is Field Service/customer service oriented experience. The ideal candidate would be based in the Detroit/Ann Arbor area. You will be formally trained on their products which interface with Radiation Therapy Simulators, Linear Accelerators and Treatment systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Field IT Technician, you will install and service IT product equipment with limited or direct supervision; maintains customer confidence through technical expertise, including efficient and effective troubleshooting methods; maintains detailed records of service visits, including, the technical problems encountered and parts employed to correct those problems; assist in developing technical reports and parts orders for local office and assigned customers; report safety problems and repetitive or costly repair problems to manager.

REQUIREMENTS
Skills and Qualifications:
Complete comprehension of basic computer skills and knowledge; knowledge of Sybase and Oracle desired; comprehensive experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades of computer networks highly desired; MCSE and experience working in a hospital/medical setting a plus. Excellent customer service skills are essential. Any Network experience in a hospital environment with previous field service experience would be the ideal. We prefer some field service experience and IT background with exposure to PACS or DICOM a plus. 70% travel required.
