FOOD SERVICE MANAGER II

Four year degree in either Nutrition/Dietetics, Institutional Management, Business Administration or other relevant major applicable to the Nutrition and Food Services operating unit and two years experience in food service management to include supervisory experience with computerized food management systems and/or large scale food management operations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.SKILLS REQUIRED: FOOD SERVICE, CUSTOMER SERVICE

THIS POSITION FUNCTIONS AS THE PATIENT SUPPORT MANAGER (COMPUTRITION COORDINATOR). The person selected for this position will, with department guidance, manage the Food and Non-Food computer operating system that supports Patient Meal Services, Ingredient Control Room, Production and Catering and Retail Services. Position will oversee Diet Office Personnel and Patient Services Manager. This person selected for this position will be the primary person responsible for building and maintaining the nutrition software system, including: putting in new recipes, menu changes, updating formulary product information, product specifications and organizing/arranging reports necessary for operation. REQUIREMENTS: Registry eligible Dietitian or 4 year degree in Nutrition/Dietetics, or equivalent, with a high level of understanding of patients diets/nutrition in a health care setting; 2 years hands on use and understanding of computerized food management systems and detailed scheduling and communications skills working with hospital and patient food service leadership and staff.
