Executive Director for Adult Day Care Services Center

We keep families together! Fast growing Adult Senior Day Care Center seeks an Executive Director who enjoys frequent interaction with a variety of people, specifically the senior population. Open Monday to Friday from 7 am to 6 pm, we are passionate about caring for seniors and others with physical and cognitive impairments and healthcare needs. With our vibrant and robust social and recreational activity program, we create community among those socially isolated. With our experienced nursing program, we fill an important role in the elder continuum of care as we help manage and administer medications and coordinate with physical, occupational, and speech therapy. As our participants reconnect with friends and former interests and hobbies, the caregiving families find respite and the chance to rejoin their communities during the day as we help their loved ones with Alzheimer’s and related dementias, rehab issues with stroke and other physical impairments, diabetes management, Parkinson’s disease, and developmental disabilities as well as attending to their social work and service needs.

Must be versatile, creative and totally committed to quality customer service. Job includes selling our services to prospective customers and following up to close sales. This is satisfying work if you are practical, compassionate, and love to learn new skills while leading a team of caregivers. Strong self-management, interpersonal and goal achievement skills are required. Ability to communicate effectively with diplomacy and tact important, too. Leadership experience required. Medical or nursing experience preferred.
