Job Description: Sunrise Senior Living , the nation's leader in senior living for over two decades is developing an innovative, first of its kind, luxury independent living community, Condo For Life, in Oakton, Virginia. This high-end equity based community allows seniors to remain in their community, own their condos and receive all the hospitality features of a fine luxury resort.This innovative provider of senior living, Sunrise Senior Living, is seeking a top notch, hands-on marketing savvy, compassionate, sales oriented General Manager for this ground breaking opportunity. Here's your chance to lead the development of this multi- million dollar project from presales, to successful delivery of 121 luxury units in 2008.The General Manager leads a team of sales professionals and as the key member sets the strategy and marketing. Must have strong sales, management and executive level talent with an entrepreneurial flair to direct the sales, marketing, and community outreach programs during the pre-sales, development phase and then assume responsibility for managing the community when the building phase is complete.During the pre-opening and selling phase of the project, you will demonstrate strong networking and marketing talents to achieve inside/outside goals. You'll work in tandem with Operations, prospective clients and your sales team to achieve their target.Qualifications include:
A bachelor's degree, master's preferred in related field.

Strong business acumen with a customer service and hospitality background, 5 years plus in leadership role.

Familiarity with the real estate development process, start-ups and opening new communities.

Ability to provide strong sales leadership for pre-opening sales and marketing efforts.

Minimum 2 years consultative sales and financial skills with a proven track record

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with deep experience with community outreach.
