Evaluation Analyst
The Evaluation Analyst is responsible for performing analyses of health care data, including medical and pharmacy claims, membership files, authorizations, survey, Health Coaching interaction, and other data from a wide variety of clients and systems. The Evaluation Analyst will be responsible for planning and executing analytic programming and interpretation on an array of studies of the effectiveness of Health Dialog programs and services. We are looking for excellent analytical and planning skills, creativity, and excellent communication skills. There are open positions in our Boston, Massachusetts, Manchester, New Hampshire and Portland, Maine offices.
Primary Responsibilities
•Developing clear and well-structured analytic plans
•Designing, programming, and documenting SAS code to analyze data, utilizing data manipulation, descriptive analyses, and statistical analyses.
•Structuring data displays to clearly communicate findings
•Summarizing results in clear, succinct ways to enable use for senior level audiences internal and external to Health Dialog

Preferred Qualifications
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate programming skill, focus and initiative in learning and applying parts of the SAS system. Although SAS experience is preferred, we will train candidates with strong analytic and/ or technical backgrounds but who have no SAS experience. The following qualifications are desired:
•2-5 years of experience using an analytic package to process complex and intricate data. Number of years of experience is not as important as how those years have been used.
•Ability to plan and design analytic activities.
•Ability to get and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
•Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
•Ability to analyze and solve complex problems
•Ability to work in a team environment and be flexible in taking on various projects
•Strong attention to detail
•Ability to communicate complex data analytics clearly in written and oral presentations
•Ability to deal responsibly with confidential information
•Bachelor’s degree in technical or analytic fields (computer science, economics, statistics, public health, etc.)
