Enterprise Data Warehouse/Database Team Lead for Prescription

As the Enterprise Data Warehouse/Database Team Lead, the specific responsibilities for the position include:
Lead the analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation of all ETL development for the Prescription Solutions' Data Mart
Implement new and modified physical data models and resolve data integration challenges
Create, update and maintain ETL technical documentation
Interact with the team to facilitate development, provide status reports, and perform software migration activities
Conduct post-production implementation support activities
Execute assigned project tasks within established schedule
Work effectively with peers, team members, and other departments to accomplish company and departmental objectives
Ensure support coverage for 24x7 as required and provide secondary back-up support
Ensure integrity and availability of DBMS and databases per service level agreements
Act as applications liaison area with third party vendors
Set direction for new product evaluation and release schedules
Manage resources and act as IT lead on Data Warehouse and Data Mart development projects working effectively with business and IT project leadership
Prepare detailed and high-level database development, team and operational status reports for senior management

Job Requirements:

Skills/Competencies:


MS degree in Computer Science or related field (or BS with additional commensurate experience)
6+ years experience designing, developing, deploying and supporting ETL processes with Informatica Power Center version 7
Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Experience managing the work of ETL Developers, Database Designers and Developers
Experience with facilitating technical design meetings and decisions
Experience with technology selection process and vendor management
Experience using Informatica Designer, Workflow Manager, Workflow Monitor and Repository Manager
Experience with Informatica system administration and change management
Strong SQL experience and knowledge of relational databases
Working knowledge of Data Warehouse Development Lifecycle methodologies
Experience with data flow and process modeling, analyzing business requirements and translating to written architectural, design, and functional specifications
Exceptional analytical problem-solving and documentation skills
Communicate effectively with users of Information Systems services
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong interviewing and interpretive skills, as well as ability to effectively present, negotiate, influence, and build consensus
Extremely organized with strong sense of priority, urgency and commitment to deadlines
Broad knowledge of diverse database technologies, tools and alternatives
Excellent problem analysis skills
