Compensation for your profession is market competitive. Benefits are excellent with extremely low co-pays for full health insurance. A single person pays just $10 bi-weekly, a family $30 bi-weekly. The retirement plan is also very good with a matching program in addition to a generous amount put in your retirement for each and every employee. We have a signing and retention bonus over the course of three years of $60,000. A very competitive relocation package offered. Eligibility for Loan Repayment up to $20,000.00 per Year
In order to help assist these underserved people, the Indian Health Services (IHS) has loan repayment programs available. Loan repayment is not guaranteed with offer of employment, as all employees must apply directly through Indian Health Services. Our ER is an 11 bed unit and sees about 18,000 visits per year.
REQUIREMENTS
Staff physician will be board eligible or board certified (unless Specific exception is made) by the appropriate board of the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association. He/she will be responsible to maintain full Licensure in the State of AK & an active DEA license. Must Be a member of the Active Medical Staff with approved Privileges & full credentials as specified in the Medical Staff Policies & procedures.
