Texas Land & Air, a fast growing Texas based and Expedited LTL and On Demand carrier, is looking for experienced Class A Drivers. Texas Land & Air is "THE Trucking Company of Texas" Don't be fooled by $0.42 cent a mile ads.... what good is $0.42 cents a mile when you only get 1,500 miles a week?



We offer 2000 miles a week minimum and opportunities for more within the DOT regulations for our OTR drivers and at least 8 hours per day for our local drivers. Our network allows you to sleep in your own bed most every night. TXLA can't be beat for a driver who wants to be with his family and friends. We have two current needs:

We have a need for Local Recovery drivers on the DFW airport to pick up and deliver freight on DFW and in the surrounding cities and towns. These positions work an early 2nd shift - approximately 1pm through 11pm.

We also have a need for Over the Road Drivers for our intra-Texas linehaul schedules. These positions run 3rd shift and allow you to sleep at home most every day of the week.

Requirements all Texas Land & Air Drivers
Must be at least 21 years of age.
One year verifiable over-the-road experience within the last 3 years. (At least 6 months in the past year)
No DWI, DUI, OUI, or BAC Driving convictions within the last seven years of application date.
No more than three moving violations within three years of application date, none serious by DOT standards.
No license suspensions of more than 30 days in the last 3 years
CDL-Class A
No failure of or refusal to take an illegal substance/alcohol test ever.
No more than one preventable accident per year.
No misdemeanors in the last 3 years and no felony convictions in the last 10 years.
No more than five jobs in the most recent three years of employment.
No abandonment of equipment or unauthorized use of equipment ever.
Must meet DOT Medical Examination Qualifications outlined in FMCSR 391.43 – 391.45, including Substance (DRUG) testing.
Must comply with all other DOT qualification requirements.
Professional appearance required at all times.
