Director of Utilization Management

We are currently assisting a managed care provider in Kansas City, MO in their search for a Director of Utilization Management for behavioral health care.

The Director of Utilization Management will be responsible for the coordination and documentation of all company's utilization management activities, including but not limited to access to appropriate level of care, provision of training to staff and providers and tracking appeals.In addition, the Director will be involved in the Quality Improvement Committee and new product development.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates will have a master's degree in the behavioral healthcare field, be licensed at the independent level (LPC, LCSW, Psychologist, RN) in the state of MO and have at least 3 years of managed care experience. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
