Director of Urology/Nephrology

The hospital is a 400-bed acute care facility that serves as the primary referral center for the Wiregrass region of the state. In addition to providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and emergency care, the hospital operates freestanding facilities for surgery and outpatient physical rehabilitation. The medical center’s position of strength has been developed through state-of-the-art facilities, focused outpatient and home health care services, and a well-developed patient referral network.

REQUIREMENTS


The Director of Urology/Nephrology will oversee 53 FTEs with 3 direct reports and will report to the Director of Nursing. Responsibilities include the oversight of a 40-bed unit, as well as acute Dialysis services. Qualified candidates will be Bachelor’s prepared nurses who are currently enrolled in a Master’s program or are Master’s prepared with strong leadership and clinical skills. Ideal candidates will have strong leadership and clinical skills. Knowledge of dialysis is a plus.
