Director of Practice Management

OrthoCarolina, an orthopedic group of 80 physicians and 700 employees, seeks an experienced Director of Practice Management for directing, leading and coordinating the department of Practice Management to ensure provision of quality, cost-effective care for our patients.
Responsibilities include:
Providing leadership for the Practice Managers.
Developing and leading the Leadership Development Program.
Oversees development and implementation of Clinical training.
Conducts regular meetings with managers with direct reporting relationship and communicates information to administration.Experience with contemporary practice management software in a health care setting preferred. Excellent oral/written communication skills must be demonstrated. Strong leadership skills a must!
REQUIREMENTS
BS in Health/Business Administration or related field and eight years of medical practice administration experience required. Masters Degree in Health/Business Administration or related field desired.Requires knowledge of clinical workflow along with the ability to implement processes of care to help physicians to see patients more efficiently.Requires knowledge of fiscal management and human resource management techniques.Must be skilled in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making to achieve organizational objectives.Must be skilled in organizing work, making assignments and achieving goals and objectives.
