Director of Pharmacy Operations

One of the largest national Specialty Pharmacy corporations in the United States is looking for a Director of Pharmacy Operations to run a new fulfillment center in the Wilmington, Delaware area. The Director will be responsible for total pharmacy operations, including personnel, staff development, budgets, p/l, inventory, automation, business development, etc. He/she will plan, coordinate and direct order entry, order production for dispensing, verification, and shipping of prescriptions within corporate and regulatory guidelines. REQUIREMENTS
BS or PharmD, or Masters prepared RN, with strong leadership/supervisory experience in the Specialty Pharmacy or Home Infusion industry. Must have a strong understanding of inventory management, quality improvement, automation, and be able to travel on a limited basis. Refrigerated supply chain experience as well as vendor relations is a plus.
