Director of Nursing (Women's and Infants Services)

Kelly Healthcare is offering an amazing, direct placement opportunity for an experienced RN to become the Nursing Director for the Women's and Infant Services Department at a large, level III Trauma hospital in South Texas. This position will manage five units within the department which are Labor/Delivery, the Women's Center, Newborn nursery, NICU, and the stepdown nursery. Job responsibilities will include:

Implementation of policies and procedures

Administering and directing patient care within the department

Operation of Women's health department

Maintenance of Quality Control and participation in performance improvement

Management of four clinical managers that supervise the units listed above.

Assisting clinical managers in preliminary hiring process.The ideal candidate will be organized, have the ability to promote a team-building atmosphere, and will feel comfortable with a management team that comes from a diverse cultural background.
