Director of Maternal Child

The Opportunity

The Director of Maternal Child provides overall direction for 18-bed labor and delivery unit, 24-bed mother/baby unit that will be expanding to 33 beds, 20-bed Level III NICU, 6-bed pediatric unit, as well as lactation, outpatient OB, and a child development clinic
3600 deliveries per year and growing
The position is responsible for 150 FTEs with the support of managers in labor and delivery, mother/baby, NICU and pediatrics, as well as a clinical educator, NICU CNS and lactation/child birth educator/coordinator
Well-staffed departments
Reports to the Associate Vice President
Qualified candidates will have a master’s degree in nursing or related field with three years experience in women’s and children’s services
Seeking a dynamic and motivated individual with a strong commitment to professional nursing practice and ability to collaborate with physicians
