Director of Critical Care Services (ICU & IMCU)

This Dynamic Nursing Director/Leadership role will direct, manage and supervise both the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Intermediate Care (IMCU) Cardiac Departments at SGAH. The ICU consists of 27 monitored beds and the IMCU has 35 cardiac telemetry monitored beds.
The Director will continuously evaluate the delivery of nursing care and patient support services on a 24-hour basis to achieve a specified standard of nursing care for the patients.
REQUIREMENTS
This position requires current MD RN license and current BLS/CPR and ACLS certification. Also requires excellent communication/people skills with staff, peers, families and physicians. Strong ability to manage finances and human resource issues.
Actively participates and affiliated with professional Critical Care organization/ current CCRN certification is required. Candidate should possess a strong clinical ICU & Cardiac Telemetry background, and min. 3 years Director level experience. Previous knowledge & experience of managing two or more critical care areas simultaneously is preferred.
