We are currently assisting a Community Mental Health Center in Rutland, VT in their search for a Director of Child and Family Services. Rutland, population about 70,000, is located at the base of the western slopes of Vermont's Green Mountains, within minutes of exeptional recreational opportunities and within a short drive of major metropolitan centers.

The Director of Child and Family Services is responsible for the supervision, development and operation of all children's programs. The Director will supervise the recruitment, hire and supervision of adult and children's services staff. The Director will be responsible for assuring clinical and administrative supervision of programs in order to assist in meeting the overall goals of the Community Mental Health Center.

The agency is offering a salary of 50,000.00-55,000.00 and an excellent benefit package. Relocation assistance may be available.

REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have a Masters level Human Service degree and experience in psychological treatment of adults, children and families. They must possess extensive knowledge of clinical treatment of psychiatric and substance abuse disorders in adults. Previous experience in managing staff and financial resources is required.

License required: Vermont state license or eligibility within one year.
