Director of Business Office

Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Business Office is primarily responsible for the collection function. They coordinate the activities of patient accounting to ensure efficient and proper collection and distribution of demographic and financial, patient information among the departments, to foster the timely and accurate production of bills and the collection of receivables with minimum effort and expense to the institution. Responsibilities Performs all duties in a manner that promotes and supports the Standards of Conduct for IASIS Healthcare.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree required and a Master’s degree in business administration is preferred. Requires previous experience in patient accounting areas with multiple years in supervisory or managerial positions. Certified manager of patient accounts as designated by the Healthcare Financial Management Association is preferred.
