Director, Residential Services

We are currently accepting applications for the position of Director of Residential Service in our Community Based Alternative Initiatives program.

The purpose of this position is to provide the overall leadership and direction to the Residential Operations Managers and House Managers needed to (1) assure full implementation of clients' Individual Plans, (2) assure clients' satisfaction with the quality of services provided, (3) insure that their fundamental rights are not compromised, (4) assure clients' safety and well-being, and (5) assure the residences meet all environmental and safety requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in counseling, education, nursing, occupational or physical therapy, psychology, social work, sociology, therapeutic recreation or a related human services field
- Minimum of two (2) years of direct supervision of residential programs
- Minimum of four (4) years experience providing professional services to the socially, emotionally, and mentally challenged
- Successful completion of all required training
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact positively and effectively persons at all levels
- Ability to assess problematic situations and implement resolutions
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and handle crisis situations efficiently and effectively
- Ability to provide direction, instruction, training, and support to staff
