Build and maintain effective clinical programs for UHPS employer clients
Leverage UnitedHealth Group and UHPS data sources to conduct and deliver client-specific clinical analyses to UHPS employer clients; recommend benefit changes and clinical programs that would help balance quality of care with pharmacy spend
Develop pharmaceutical care and personalized medication reports identifying care gaps and money-saving treatment alternatives
Assist UnitedHealthcare and Uniprise sales personnel in delivering client-specific clinical program strategies and tactics for closing new and renewing existing business for UHPS
Act as clinical pharmacy liaison to Optum and Medco Health Solutions
Assist with clinical and medical coverage review cases and clinical appeals
Job Requirements:
PharmD with active license to practice as pharmacist required
Thorough clinical knowledge of medication therapeutic classes
PBM or health plan experience preferred
Comfortable with change management and matrix environment
Strong analytic, communication and presentation skills
Strategic vision with attention to detail
Comprehensive understanding of Pharmacy programs, contracts, operations
Understanding of Sales and Account Management processes
