Director Business Development

VHA is seeking a Director, Business Development to lead VHA’s product and business development efforts to support clinical improvement initiatives. This position will identify opportunities for new services and work with VHA’s operating units to implement those products and services.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Leading key projects and initiatives to evaluate potential clinical improvement solutions to benefit VHA members;
Identifying stakeholder needs to influence the development and configuration of new service opportunities;
Developing the business case for new opportunities justifying clinical improvement opportunities;
Developing project plans and organizing and leading teams of VHA and client staff to accomplish project objectives;Presenting business case and rationale to senior management for project approval.
REQUIREMENTS
Masters degree in business and/or healthcare or at least 7 years of practical experienceExperience in working with hospital operations including evaluating and implementing clinical improvement initiatives with clinical staff
Experience in analyzing and reporting of clinical and financial information to identify high-opportunity areas for improvement
Experience with project management and leading multi-disciplinary teams
Experience with evaluating new business opportunities and presenting a business case for approvalMust have strong communication skills, both oral and writtenMust be inherently a team player and collaboratorMust have exceptional interpersonal skillsShould possess good analytical skills, business judgment, and leadership skills
