Dietitian - Four Oaks, NC/25 hours

RENAL DIETICIAN: Responsible for providing ongoing care for all nutrition aspects of pre ESRD, ESRD, PD and transplant patients. Responsible for comprehensive nutrition assessment including short term care plan and long-term program within one month of admission. Recommend appropriate feeding methods/formula or meal patterns. (i.e. IDPN, supplements). Responsible for developing or obtaining patient nutrition educations materials. Counsel patient, family, significant other or caregiver on prescribed diet and monitor adherence and response to therapy. Review monthly lab work on an individual basis and intervene as appropriate in collaboration with patient’s physician.


EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:3 years experience in either renal nutrition or diabetes educationEffective oral communication skills are essential
Ability to travel with valid drivers licenseEDUCATION:Registered Dietitian
Current state licensure if applicable
