Compensation for your profession is market competitive. Benefits are excellent with extremely low co-pays for full health insurance. A single person pays just $10 bi-weekly, a family $30 bi-weekly. The Opportunity
In conjunction with the program director and team members, plan, coordinate, oversee and conduct health promotion and outreach activities for Community Health & Wellness Diabetes Prevention & Control Program.
REQUIREMENTS
2 Positions: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a health related field with a background in public health health, social services, education, behavioral health and/or community development. Ideal candidate would have a degree in exercise physiology. Preferred Master’s degree in health related field. Two years experience in a multi-cultural, rural health care setting. Preferred experience in dealing with public health issues. Preferred experience in outreach, public speaking, case management and health education activities. Basic Life Support obtainable within 30 day of hire. Preferred certification/licensure/registration in a health-related field. Frequent travel throughout the Y-K region in small planes and in sub-arctic conditions is required for successful program implementation.
