Department Chair for our Practical Nursing Program

Brown Mackie College – North Canton seeks a Department Chair for our Practical Nursing Program. The following qualifications and preparation are required:
1.Completion of an approved professional nursing education program;
2.Experience for at least two years in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse;
3.A baccalaureate degree in nursing; and
4.Current active licensure as a registered nurse in Ohio.Job Requirements
The following qualifications and preparation are strongly preferred:
1. Experience for at least five years in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse, two of which have been as a faculty member in a program; and

This employee will be responsible for hiring and training faculty, ordering equipment for laboratories, communicating with all accrediting bodies, educating and retaining students, and developing working relationships with local healthcare providers who will provide clinical sites for the students.
