Dayshift Pharmacist

GLC Healthcare has a need in the Northern Dallas area (Farmers Brach) local for a Monday through Friday only dayshift pharmacist. Hours for the position are Monday through Friday from 9:30am-6:30pm with no evening, on-call or weekends involved. Our business is growing rapidly and our need for a highly qualified and motivated pharmacist is immediate. We also own one of the most progressive medical clinics, the Texas Institute of Functional Medicines.
As the Pharmacist:
1. Accepts new orders via fax, telephone and email. Enters into system and sends to techs for picking.
2. Reviews prescriptions issued by Physician, or other authorized prescriber to assure accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients needed.
3. Answers questions and provides information to pharmacy customers on drug interactions, side effects, dosage and storage of pharmaceuticals.
4. Researches information for new products as requested.
5. Double-checks all orders prior to shipping.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have a B.S. or Pharm D. along with TX state pharmacy licensure.Compounding experience is a plus.
