We will raise the bar on quality and service and will set a new standard for the hospital care delivery.Job Type: Full-TimeJob Description:The primary role of the CNS is to plan and conduct critical care orientations, inservices and continuing education programs that support the mission of the hospital, and the requirements of all regulatory agencies. The CNS also participates in all quality initiatives selected by the hospital and works under the direction of the Director of Critical Care/Telemetry Services. The CNS assists the director in identifying the needs, planning for and implementing education activities for Critical Care/Telemetry and other hospital departments as the need is identified. The CNS contributes to the evaluation of staff performance and is responsible for maintaining good working relations with physicians and employees. The CNS works 80% of their time with Critical Care/Telemetry staff and 20% of their time with Hospital Education. This employee complies with the Nurse Pratice ACT-Articl 2 section 2725 of the Business and Professions Code.The qualified candidate will possess a California license as a Registered Nurse, be a graduate from an accredited nursing school, BSN is prferred or willingness to obtain is required. Minimum of three years of Clinical Nurse Specialist in critical care experience is required. Must have current BCLS, ACLS, and Fire certification and a year recent critical care experience.We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.
