Corporate Compliance Analyst

DescriptionSUMMARY
The Corporate Compliance Analyst provides administrative, analytical and quality control support to ensure the achievement of corporate compliance requirements related to service agreements, state utilization management licenses and certifications, and accreditations. Incumbent is expected to manage routine processes independently with limited supervision. This position is expected to maintain working relationships with the sales and client services team, the clinical leadership, legal staff, the finance department and other members of the senior staff to coordinate the contract process.RESPONSIBILITIES
Contract Administration
1. Maintains approved contract administration templates including Master Service Agreements, Schedules [Description of Services, Fees, and Performance Standards], HIPAA Business Associate Agreements, and ancillary templates. Coordinates annual review and update of templates.
2. Establishes a schedule for execution of new and renewal agreements. Serves as the intake point for requests from the Sales Department and Client Services Departments for the preparation of new or renewal service agreements. Documents status of contract process from request to final execution to ensure timely resolution of issues affecting execution.
3. Reviews all requests for new or renewal contracts to ensure that all data necessary to prepare agreements is complete and follows up with the requesting party to obtain missing information. Consults with Contract Administrator regarding variances that require resolution. At direction of Contract Administrator may send review requests to Legal.
4. Prepares initial contract documents in accordance with standard templates and the Terms of Sale. Coordinates with FHC's liability carriers to obtain Certificates of Insurance pertinent to Service Agreements. Prepares final contract documents based on direction from the Contract Administrator, after negotiations and consultation with Counsel are complete. Responsible for ensuring that all issues generated during the contract review have been addressed and that the documents have been proofed for consistency and accuracy.
5. Prepares final signature clearance requests and ensures that contract documents are recorded in the correct network files and corporate files.
Regulatory Compliance
1. Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate filing of state utilization management certification (UMO) applications and compliance reports. Receives direction from the Director of Quality, Accreditation and Regulatory Compliance.
2. Establishes and annual plan and schedule for updating renewal applications and filing required reports to ensure compliance.
3. Researches state regulatory requirements to identify requirements. Prepares initial regulatory applications and all supporting policy and related documents. Prepares final application documents based on direction from the Director, of Quality, Accreditation and Regulatory Compliance.

REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Paralegal certification or training strongly preferred.2. Minimum of 3 years experience in contract administration, auditing, performance improvement operations, or compliance.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES1. Knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements (HIPAA, FMLA, etc.) and quality standards such as URAC and NCQA.2. Background in health insurance/care industry preferred.3. High proficiency level in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).4. Strong project management and organizational skills.5. Excellent communication skills.6. Strong attention to detail.7. Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills8. Ability to multi-task and work under tight timeframes.9. Strong organizational skills.10. Ability to perform independently with general direction.
