Position: Cooks
As a Cook you are responsible for all food preparation so meals meet, or exceed, hospitality and service standards.

Sunrise Assisted Living in Santa Monica has a four day (32 hours) Cook Position Open.
The Schedule we are offering is: Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
The working hours are: 11:00 am to 6:45 pm each day.

The Position consists of cooking a variety of food cold and hot. Our menu cycle consist of 4 different week menus, in which each day you will prepare two different entrees and a selection of a la carte items.
Cook duties:

Prepare all food to meet quantity and service schedule requirements.

Handle food in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards.

Comply with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food production

Follows a menu to prepare meals


The ideal candidate we are looking for is a person with at least 1 year of experience in one or all of these disciplines:

Institutional cooking (Hospital, School, Health Care)
Restaurant and Hotel

This person must be organized, clean and be able to be a team player.
