Coding Analyst seeking a certified professional coder to conduct in-hospital medical record review and analysis for charge capture; abstract medical information from hospital medical records according to standard procedures and national/regional medical coding guidelines, rules, regulations; serve as a liaison between University physicians, hospitals, and billing units; enter billing data abstracted from medical records to appropriate billing systems; assist in determining policy and procedural changes related to medical coding and conduct training under direction of the HealthTeam Central Business Office.
