Master's degree is required
Provides leadership to the health care team in areas of coordination of post-acute care services and provision of psychosocial support services to patients and families. Serves as a resource for the health care team on appropriate and timely utilization of acute care level services and length of stay. Assists with departmental operations and improvement projects.



Requirements
Seasoned professional knowledge; knowledge in more than one discipline. Master in Social Work. One to three (1-3) years of experience. Maryland Licensed Graduate Social Worker LGSW; LCSW-C preferred. Insurance, government and legal regulations; Basic computer skills; Cerner; Microsoft Office Suite; Synquest; Critical thinking skills; Medical terminology; Standard Office Equipment; Clinical social worker for perinatal units with primary responsibility in NICU, secondarily on inpatient OB unit. Duties include psychosocial assessments, supportive counseling, discharge planning.
