Clinical Research Coordinator- Pectus Multicenter Study

The Clinical Research Coordinator works directly with principal investigators to facilitate all aspects of clinical research. This individual collaborates with hospital departments to coordinate research related activities. Instrumental in study design, coordination, implementation, documentation and data management of research protocols to include budget preparation, monitoring and quarterly reports. The clinical research coordinator monitors and assures study conduct in accordance with institutional Review Board and Federal Regulations.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing preferred. Certification as research nurse preferred. Current Virginia license as a Registered Nurse. A minimum of 3 years pediatric nursing experience required. Must be able to communicate effectively and concisely both verbally and in writing; provide leadership; utilize strong organization skills; demonstrate a positive professional and personal image; work independently. Computer skills necessary to execute software programs utilized in clinical research.
