Title: Clinical Relations Manager

We currently have an opening for Clinical Relations Manager based at our Malden, MA Location.

General Summary

The Clinical Relations Manager will manage the relationship between Assignment America, Inc., (AAI) and client facilities, which is the catalyst in generating revenue for AAI. Accountability to maintain a profitable revenue stream through partnership development, consultative selling and continuous management of the relationship and sales process to ensure revenue targets are achieved and exceeded.
Key responsibilities include relationship management, industry and market awareness, and a comprehensive assessment of HealthCare Facility (HCF) needs. Accountable for all HCF and market specific attributes to include the presentation and delivery of AAI’s international program as a long-term staffing solution.
The purpose of this position is to enhance company growth through the development of partnerships with suitable HCF’s while also providing clinical and professional knowledge and support to foreign-educated HealthCare Professionals (HCP), client contacts, and the AAI team.

Client Relationship Management - principal duties and responsibilities:
1.Works with the Director of Cross Country Staffing International to plan, develop and implement a marketing strategy for the placement of foreign-educated HCP on long-term assignment at suitable client facilities.
2.Manage marketing process for new and existing clients of AAI’s and strive to develop partnerships for long-term placement of foreign-educated HCPs.
3.Responsible for building and maintaining relationships at all levels of the client organization.
4.Work in conjunction with Cross Country Staffing (CCS) Sales Team to ensure that language specific to AAI is included in contract and where necessary ensure that an addendum is added.
5.Availability for domestic travel (expected frequency 60% travel) for the purpose of on-site visits to current and potential clients as well as scheduled exhibit shows following a pre-determined travel itinerary approved by Director of Cross Country Staffing International.
6.On-site visits to defined clients for the purpose of:
•Increasing AAI’s visibility as a quality provider and partner of foreign-educated HCPs for long-term assignments; and
•Expanding/growing relationships with a suitable client base.
7.Work in conjunction with CCS Sales Team to establish pricing and to maximize market share inline with AAI GP targets
8.Compile and convey familiarity with all aspects of assigned markets and accounts, including hospital size, affiliations, model of care, assignment characteristics, housing complexes and other market specific attributes.
9.Work with the corresponding housing territory representative internally, and develop familiarity externally with housing properties that meet the needs of a new arrival to the area.
10.Coordinate with CCS Sales Team to ensure that AAI is included in desired RFP’s.
11.Identify business opportunities - current and new - for AAI.
12.Responsibility to be actively involved and accessible to CCS Sales Team and Account Mangers to resolve AAI customer problems and issues as part of relationship management.

Clinical Liaison - principal duties and responsibilities:
1.Provides AAI’s foreign-educated HCPs with clinical and professional support during assignments to facilitate assignment completion and traveler retention.
2.Refers potential risk management incidents/issues as needed to the appropriate CCS function.
3.Interacts in a professional and knowledgeable manner during conflict resolution with foreign-educated HCPs and client to facilitate development of a win-win plan.
4.Provides guidance to the recruitment team in making initial employment decisions where appropriate.
5.Acts as resource to AAI’s foreign-educated HCPs to meet cognitive testing requirements of CCS and or facility, to include CCU’s on-line testing and remediation practices.
6.Maintains accurate record keeping, utilizing AAI/CCS current systems.
7.Manages relationship with client facility to sustain long-term assignment options for foreign-educated HCPs:
•Assists recruitment team, where appropriate, in compiling HCP Profile to be submitted to client facility. HCP profile consists of work history, education and training, skills checklist and references.
•Advises recruitment team on the details of the positions open to include working conditions, schedules, policies, and other necessary hospital specific information
•Troubleshoots clinically related applicant questions.
•Reports issues/ concerns, as well as recommendations for improvement, to Director of Cross Country Staffing International

REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications Required
1.Registered Nurse with strong clinical background (5 years) and proven leadership experience.
2.Outside sales experience in the Healthcare Staffing Industry an advantage.
3.Excellent communication and presentation skills
4.Professional Appearance and Presence
5.Proficiency Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
6.Sales or Account Management experience an advantage
