If you enjoy working in the field and are interested in joining a great team, we invite you to explore this Clinical Nurse position. In this role you would provide direct patients care and coordinate that care with other disciplines. This position offers excellent benefits, as well as regular, Monday through Friday business hours.



Primary responsibilities include:
Providing direct care for approximately 20 to 25 patients in their homes some of these patients could be post-operative, stroke, cardiac, diabetics, iv cases or chemotherapy)
Performing assessments
Providing case management and coordinating care with doctors and other staff
Providing IV therapy
Supervising home health aides
Collecting OASIS data (Medicare documentation)
Writing orders for wound care or additional medications and getting the doctors approval
Completing documentation
Calling insurance case managers to get authorization for visits

Job Requirements:

A current, unrestricted license in the state of Maryland is required, along with CPR certification. Med-surge or maternal infant experience is also required. Candidates must also have experience providing care in a home health environment. A background in acute care, IV and phlebotomy would all be preferred. Applicants must be organized, flexible and able to function autonomously.
