Clinical Operations Manager

HealthSouth’s corporate headquarters in Birmingham, AL is currently seeking a critical and independent thinking individual to join our Inpatient team as a Clinical Research Manager with a specific focus on disease management.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Designing, developing, implementing and optimizing best clinical practices for disease management product lines on a division wide basis.
- Analyzing the effectiveness of disease specific clinical programs and the effectiveness of those programs as recognized by third party payers.
- Building model disease management services that also adhere to accreditation and regulatory changes.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates for this position will have a Bachelor’s degree and/or clinical background preferably in Nursing, Occupational or Physical Therapy as well as a minimum of eight years of experience in their clinical field. Management experience is crucial and experience in claims reviews or case management with Fiscal Intermediaries or other payers is preferred.
