Clinical Nurse Manager - Endoscopy

This first shift Clinical Nurse Leader position will work in our new 110,000 square foot Stryker Center Outpatient Facility with the primary objective of leading the operations of the Endoscopy Lab staff. This is a
multi-faceted position that will handle cases, inventory, billing and management of the day to day functions of the department.
This role will also facilitate proactive performance improvement initiatives at the department level.

This front line management position will allow you to use your relationship and problem solving skills to proactively achieve favorable results for patients, staff, family and physicians. Some of the key components of the position will be meeting with staff, physicians and patients, proactive auditing, approval of schedule, decision making on overtime/low need based on staffing model, safety and environmental monitoring, incident and patient complaint system.
Direct reports into this position include RN staff and Endoscopy Techs.
This position will work Monday-Friday, early morning, and will also be responsible for evening and weekend response to staff on management related questions.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate for our team will be Bachelors prepared with 2+ years of professional nursing experience in Outpatient Surgery in Endoscopy Lab. A current Michigan RN license (or eligible to receive).

Three to five years Endoscopy Management expereinece required.

ACLS required.

Program development experience preferred.

Supervisory, inventory and equipment management required.

Leadership skills with a dedication to relationship building and professionalism are crucial.
