Job Summary: The Clinical Nurse utilizes discretion and independent judgment in applying the nursing process to the provision of age-specific and developmentally appropriate quality patient care; follows medical center policies, protocols, technique, and guidelines; meets qualifications, licensure/certifications, and competencies as defined in the unit/department-specific Plan for Providing Care; applies theoretical concepts to clinical practice and continually expands knowledge base and clinical skills with a focus in area of specialty; utilizes knowledge in the delivery of quality whole person care; contributes to a work environment of caring and cooperation among a culturally diverse workforce; performs other duties as assigned.Job Specifications: Current and unrestricted CA. RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS required. Clinical experience preferred. Able to communicate in English in a professional manner. Able to perform the essential physical functions for the position and lift at least 50 pounds.
