Join the professionals on our team and share in a quality career experience.Under the direct supervision of the Laboratory Operations Director and technical direction of pathologist, etc., directs, coordinates and performs the activities of assigned laboratory department(s).This position is the laboratory supervisor of Clinical Lab Scientists (Med Techs)and support services on both the 2nd and 3rd shifts.Assists in budget preparation, policy and procedure writing and review, accreditation associated activities and is responsible for appropriate utilization of staffing, supplies, instruments, and equipment in assigned
department(s).Job RequirementsBachelors Degree in: Chemical, Physical or Biological Sciences or Medical Technology
> 5 Years experienceKnowledge and skills and abilities required:
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Independent judgement and good decision-making and problem solving skills required.
Knowledge of techniques, principles and instruments of laboratory technology of the department(s) supervising.
Good leadership skills, including the ability to handle adversity and diversity, and mentor employees.Specific Job Details:
Generally scheduled Monday through Friday 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm. This is a 2nd & 3rd shift supervisor position as a result hours and days may vary.
