Clinical Dietitian

Department: Food and NutritionSchedule: Part-timeShift: Variable daysHours: 8:00 to 4:30 p.m.Job Details: Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or equivalent is required. - Registration with the American Dietetic Association or registry eligible. - 6 months work experience or internship-ADA approved. - Recent clinical experience must include nutrition support. - Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. Ability to interpret Diet manual and menus. Ability to interpret portion control guidelines. Ability to organize workload, and use effective time management.Responsible for the Clinical Nutrition aspects of care. Revise nutrition care plans to meet patients’ changing needs. Evaluate the need for medical nutrition therapy and provide effective nutrition education when appropriate. Assist patients with menu selection, as needed. Assist dietetic technician, nutrition assistants, and diet clerk when necessary.
