Clinical Applications Specialist - Minneapolis
TITLE: Clinical Applications Specialist
COMPANY OVERVIEW: Vital Images is a leading provider of enterprise-wide advanced visualization software solutions. The company’s technology gives radiologists, cardiologists, oncologists and other medical specialists’ time-saving productivity and communications tools that can be accessed throughout the enterprise and via the Web for easy use in the day-to-day practice of medicine. In addition, Vital Images’ strength in strategic partnerships expands physicians’ capabilities and access to Vitrea software throughout an enterprise.
BASIC PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
This position will be responsible for the applications training for both the on-site training and the in-house training. The Clinical Applications Team will drive the customer training segments and be responsible for insuring that customer-training issues are addressed in a timely manor. This position will also provide clinical support in the use of our software for marketing and testing.
OVERALL OUTPUTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job Responsibilities: Build a process and database to track and schedule customer training activities Develop the curriculum to support the In-house, on-site, and road show training activities Help facilitate the scheduling of all customer training activities Perform field applications Form and help train in existing and future distributors of Vital Images Implement a streamline rollover to Saleslogix within the applications department Help develop new training curriculums Help train new sales hires
Job Functions

Technical Clinical experience in both CT and/or MRI A thorough background in 3D anatomy/pathology

Service Quality Provides accurate and timely information to users Responds to customer needs quickly and efficiently Assumes responsibility to meet customer needs

Other Job Requirements Attendance - Is consistently present and punctual Orients new employees as assigned.Ability to take on project to completion with little coaching.

REQUIREMENTS
Travel Percentage: 70%
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: AA degree or a RT Certification with clinical experience in both CT and/or MRI A four year degree is preferred
SKILLS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Likes to teach, perhaps a background in some form Excellent organizational skills Strong customer service orientation Can-do approach A thorough background in 3D anatomy/pathology would be a solid plus. Must have a thorough understanding of the physiology of the body
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to travel via car and airplane up to 75% Must be able to lift 50 pounds
WORKING CONDITIONS: Work during normal business hours Monday though Friday. Travel and training will involve some weekends.
