Clinical Account Executive
ATTN RNs or LPNs - preferably with Sales exp. Home Health exp. necessary with strong connection to community. Gathers referrals and contacts to sell specialty home care service lines to physicians/hospitals/nursing facilities/discharge planners/case managers and assists with pull through for Network business within an assigned territory- preliminary determination of potential clients' eligibility/need for home care, and assist branch operations in clinical coordination/communication/ Works under moderate supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Calls on physicians, hospital/skilled nursing facilities' management, discharge planners and case managers within an assigned territory to promote the sale of designated service lines. Implements business plans, prepares quarterly updates and manages sales time/resources according to plan..Conducts pre-discharge hospital or other facility visits at the physicians' request and upon receiving physician orders to make a preliminary determination of the need/eligibility for home care, as required to back up the territory’s Home Care Specialist. Documents preliminary patient demographic, clinical and payer information, on company approved forms and works with Branch management to process referral.
REQUIREMENTS
Medical sales background w/ 3 years exp.--Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or the equivalent, R.N. licensure plus a minimum of three years clinical experience industry sales experience a big plus. Strong knowledge of governmental home health regulations, Medicare requirements and care plan development techniques required. Excellent organization, problem solving and communication skills also required. General knowledge of sales techniques and a basic knowledge of physician, hospital/skilled nursing facility, case management and discharge planning service needs required. Computer literacy required. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and presentation skills also required. Ability to travel within assigned territory and to sales meetings as required.
