Additionally, is responsible for the development,
implementation and monitoring of all patient care programs, fiscal planning and management, planning for the provision of care, performance improvement programs, policies and procedures, and maintaining adequate, qualified and competent associates; Ensures adequate space and equipment that supports quality patient care.
The Coordinator will aslo ensure effective integration of the department's operations to the facility. Responsible for: interpreting and carrying out the prescription of the physician; receiving and writing verbal orders from physicians, nurse practitioners, and/or physician assistants in accordance with practice act guidelines; good public relations; protection of confidential data; economic use of time; equipment and supplies; and safety and welfare of patients and other associates.
