Health Dialog Analytic Solutions (HDAS), located in Portland, Maine with offices in Boston, Massachusetts and Manchester, New Hampshire, develops analytic products and services for health plans and employers to identify and reduce unwarranted variation in the real-world delivery of healthcare.

Job Description
This position offers the opportunity to measure the appropriateness and effectiveness of care for over twenty million health plan beneficiaries. Develop strategies to identify those most apt to benefit from more information about their conditions and treatment options. Measure the impact of our intervention on the overall quality and cost-effectiveness of their care.

The Client Analyst must demonstrate strong analytic skills. Produce explicit project plans and manipulate massive datasets into the analytic files necessary to answer a given question. Develop reports and presentations that clearly communicate both outcomes and implications of the analysis and provide recommendations for next steps.

Primary Responsibilities:
•Develop study plan and document specifications of analysis
•Program (clear and re-usable) SAS code
•Present results in an effective manner
•Summarize the outcomes, implications, and limitations of the analyses and present recommendations for internal and external clients

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
The ideal applicant will have a strong epidemiology, biostatistics and/or health services research background, be able to demonstrate quantitative analytic skills (preferably using SAS), and possess the following qualifications:

•Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines

•Ability to work in a team environment and be flexible in taking on various projects
