Full implementation of Picture Archiving Computer System (PACS) technologies is complete, including the ability to move images to any of our campuses or to referring physician offices via the world wide web. Job Description:
Shift: Monday through Friday, Day shift
Demonstrates through behavior Florida Hospital’s core values of Integrity, Care, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship, and Teamwork as outlined in the organization’s Performance Excellence Program booklet. Supervises and monitors the Cardiology Ultrasound dept to assure that it effectively and efficiently provides quality studies that will aid in the treatment of Florida Hospital patients. Works with each Lead Technologist to assure quality of studies, implementation of new policies, identification of needs and opportunities, and identification of problems and facilitation of solutions. Assures appropriate work and call schedules. Identifies and responds appropriately to all complaints and takes effective corrective action. Works with Medical Director and Director/Asst. Director to solve problem areas and manage growth of department. Provides adequate resources for employees to perform procedures. Serves as resource to other campuses.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
3-5 Years of experience is required.
This position requires registries in both Adult Echo and Vascular Ultrasound.
