Join the professionals on our team and share in a quality career experience.Under the general direction of the clinical director, the registered nurse provides direct patient care, collaborates with patients, families, peers, physicians and other members of the health care team in the delivery of health care services to the cardiovascular patient population. The staff nurse assesses patient’s needs, plans care, implements and evaluates the medical and nursing regimens in accordance with the patient’s needs based on the nurses knowledge of growth/development, the hospital’s policies, procedures, and standards as well as the mission, vision, and values. The staff nurse functions in an acuity adaptable environment caring for patients from admission to discharge. He/she is able to adapt to a constantly changing setting spanning the whole continuum of care from telemetry to the most critical patient. The inpatient department has won national awards for patient satisfaction and is looking for staff with strong customer service skills. He/she demonstrates leadership/management skills and commitment to professional accountability and growth. In addition, to cardiac surgical ICU experience the staff nurse should have experience with 12 lead EKG interpretation, intra-aortic balloon pumps and CRRT.Job RequirementsRegistered Nurse:
Wisconsin State RN License
Previous Cardiac Surgical ICU experience
BLS Certification
Completion of ACLS Certification within one year of employment
