Cardiac Cath Lab Supervisor

Rewarding clinical and professional excellence is a goal of Cook Children’s Health Care System.Department: CCMC Cln-Cath LabSchedule: Full-TimeHours: 8am - 5pm M - FSummary: The supervisor of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory is responsible for the daily operation of the laboratory and maintenance of laboratory equipment. The supervisor collaborates with the Cardiology Director and the pediatric cardiologists to consistently provide high standards of patient care and safety consistent with other established pediatric cardiac catheterization laboratories. The cath lab manager reports to the Director of Cardiology and Co-Associate Medical Directors, but collaborates closely with Nursing Administration on matters pertaining to nursing care.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic program or BSN. Certified in Radiological Technology highly preferred. Demonstrable proficiency in all aspects of Cardiac Catheterization. Five years of cardiac catheterization experience. Four years in a lead or supervisory position. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Strong team-building skills. Current RT(R) Registration or BSN. CPR Certified. PALS certified.
