CNA - Hospice (An autonomous, field-based role!)

This autonomous CNA position represents an uncommon opportunity for personal satisfaction. While cultivating timeless bonds with patients, families and colleagues, you would be out in the field providing quality end-of-life care in residences and medical facilities. The Evercare Hospice team needs your compassion and independence for this unique role focused on the following responsibilities:






Providing the patient assistance with ambulating, transfers, positioning, exercising, feeding and other personal care tasks
Taking vital signs, changing simple dressings, assisting patients in taking their medications and performing other duties as assigned by the RN
Performing light housekeeping duties such as preparing meals and changing sheets
Reporting changes in patient's condition to RN Case Manager
Submitting CNA visit records in a timely manner
Attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings

Job Requirements:

Only experienced CNAs will be considered for this role, and candidates must have graduated from an accredited CNA program. A current and valid driver's license, a car and auto insurance are crucial for this field-based position.
