CNA - Certified Nurse Aide

Certified Nursing Assistant / CNAJob Description:Highland Terrace is currently recruiting for Evening and Night certified nursing assistants. We have a resident centered philosophy and incorporate animals, plants and children into the our residents daily lives. We also have "self staffing" where staff decide their work schedule. We provide long-term care and short-term rehabilitation services to the community. Our facility has 83-bed capacity, small enough to have a cozy home like feeling yet large enough to provide the latest in therapies and nursing care. We feel this allows us to give truly personalized care to each of our Residents. We are proud to say that our last survey was deficiency free.The CNA, certified nursing assistant, is responsible for performing resident care activities and related nursing services necessary in caring for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of residents.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform duties in accordance with established nursing objectives
Assist residents with daily living activities
Assist and encourage participation in resident recreation programs

REQUIREMENTS
Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the State
Proficient in performing technical skills required of a nursing assistant
Must be able to pass all local health regulations
Must pass post employment physical exam if required. This includes drug screening, criminal background check, and reference inquiry
Must be able to communicate verbally in a positive and professional manner
