Clinical Nurse Manager

The Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible for the management of the Orthopaedic Surgery Clinic in the East Baltimore campus. Responsibilities include: Defining/coordinating nursing care; serving as a resource to inpatient and outpatient staff in assessing patient needs; planning with staff and giving assistance with patient care; and coordinating non-clinical daily operations and activities for the Clinic, including general office procedures, patient flow, registration, appointment scheduling, billing coordination, facilities, financial monitoring, information systems and supervision of staff in the Clinic. Nursing degree and current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland is required. Previous management and analytical experience required, preferably in an academic medical environment. Previous Orthopaedic Surgery experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
