Following established Departmental and Hospital policies and procedures and under the direction of the Chief Technologist, is responsible for maintaining the highest possible levels of communication for quality clinical care. In an independent fashion monitors patient exam flow; maintain communication with the referring physicians on matters related to the timely flow of examination results via telephone, hard copy or facsimile transmission; prepare quality assurance audits on reporting process. Visits referring physicians to review level of satisfaction, and reports all findings and recommended changes to the Chief Technologist and section chiefs. Supervises support personnel within the division as directed by Chief Technologist
REQUIREMENTS
Undergraduate degree in health field or related area.{2}Work requires excellent command of the English language, including strong grammar and spelling abilities; 2 to 3 years of secretarial experience, and/or high degree of self motivation with ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks satisfactorily. Applicants must demonstrate an ability to learn information systems, and office automation systems.{3}1 to 2 years related experience.
