We’re currently seeking an experienced Technologist to provide computerized tomographic services according to established policies, utilizing ALARA principles.

Essential functions of this position include:
Performing CT Scan studies; including obtaining pertinent history, explaining procedures, and addressing patient concerns
Preparing required departmental written documentation, including computer ordering and acknowledgement, patient charts, statistics, QA and QC records, etc.
Assisting with the maintenance of equipment, supplies, and materials
Providing age-appropriate patient care
Meeting and exceeding continuous quality improvement standards
Participating in educational programs, seminars, workshops, and meetings to enhance professional growth and development
Displaying courtesy and sensitivity to patients

REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or the equivalent; and be a graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program, certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and licensed by the NY state Department of Health. CAT Scan certification preferred. Must have one year of experience on multi-slice CAT Scan and the ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, and staff.
